ALIYEV: ARMENIAN PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE AFRAID OF AZERBAIJAN'S GROWING MILITARY POTENTIAL, THEY SHOULD BE AFRAID OF THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT

The latest parade has shown the strength of the Azerbaijani army,
Azeri President Ilham Aliyev said at the July 18 session of the
Cabinet of Ministers.
Azeri mass media quote Aliyev as saying, "We have demonstrated the
latest models of weapons, ammunitions and armored vehicles at the
parade. The helicopters, tanks, armored vehicles, artillery units,
anti-air defense installations and others have again showed that the
Azerbaijani army is among the strongest armies in the world."
"Armenia was concerned about the parade. I know that Armenia still
has a feeling of hysteria, panic and fear. It has seen the power of
Azerbaijan and once again realized that we are ready for any variant.
With the purchased military technique, we are able to destroy any
enemy. As I said during the parade, we can speak with the enemy in
any language. In addition to all political and diplomatic efforts,
our military power will play a key role in the settlement of the
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict", he said. "We will keep on building
our military power and we will keep on purchasing modern military
equipment", Aliyev added.
Aliyev also pointed out that Armenian people should not be afraid of
that. He thinks that Armenian people should be afraid of their own
government. "They should be scared of corrupt criminal authorities,
which makes them live the way they do now. For this reason every year
about 100,000 Armenians leave the country forever", he said.
