Following the mass protests against the recent rise in the public
transport fare from 100 AMD to 150 AMD, Yerevan's Municipality has
decided to reduce the fare to 120 AMD.
A source from the Municipality has told ArmInfo that Mayor of Yerevan
Taron Margaryan is worried that the rise has damaged his image of
"the best mayor." So, he has decided to find a compromise.
