REPRESENTATIVES OF ARMENIA'S MINORITY GROUPS SUPPORT PROTEST ACTIONS

YEREVAN. - The Armenian people are holing a passive struggle by
leaving their home country, said chairman of organization of Greeks
of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.
Eduard Polatov commented on the recent protest movement against
transport price hike, saying he would join the activists.
Chairman of the Assyrians' Union of Razmik Khosroyev noted that
protests are a step forward in the development of Armenian society
The third participant of the press conference, representative of the
Yezidi community Amo Sharoyan said that unemployment and emigration
are the consequence of price hike in various fields.
The protest actions against public transport fares rise continue in
Armenia's capital for the fifth day. The members of the "We will not
Pay 150 Drams" initiative gathered in the center, urging to join them
and pay 100 drams.
