On July 30 at 04:45 Armavir Police Department received a call from
the hospital informing that a woman diagnosed with that "severe
closed craniocerebral injury, skull hematoma, comatose condition'
is taken there.
Police Public Relations Department informed that the operative group
that left for the scene revealed that the woman was the resident of
Hatsik village Vergush Sargsyan, 1936, who received the injuries from
her son Vardan Stepanyan, 1976.
The incident took place as a result of a dispute in the family at
around 03.00. The doctors said that the woman was unable to report
the incident. At 09.50 am the woman died in the hospital. A criminal
case is filed on the grounds of part 14 of the second paragraph
of article 112 of RA Criminal Code. Steps are taken for detecting
Vardan Stepanyan.
Investigation continues.
