NIKOL PASHINYAN ACCUSED DEPUTY PREMIER OF KICKBACKS
Member of Parliament Nikol Pashinyan said during the extraordinary
meeting of parliament that the deputy prime minister Armen Gevorgyan
denies the revelations of the Control Chamber, which is understood
because had they been admitted, the government would have to resign
but it is going to continue working in the same way.
He recalled that last September Serzh Sargsyan raised the same issue.
In particular, he criticized them for kickbacks but, strangely,
the same government was reappointed. According to Nikol Pashinyan,
if Armen Gevorgyan dismissed the revelations by the Control Chamber,
he also dismisses Serzh Sargsyan's statements.
Nikol Pashinyan referred to Serzh Sargsyan's statement on catching the
big fish and said that they are not doing it. Nikol Pashinyan accused
Armen Gevorgyan of practicing kickback, since according to the press,
he is a co-owner of Toyota Armenia. Pashinyan says the office cars
of the government and parliament are Toyotas.
Armen Gevorgyan dismissed rumors that he is a co-owner of Toyota
Armenia Company noting at the same time that cars are not bought
only from that company. Nikol Pashinyan insisted that there were even
Wikileaks proving he is a co-owner of Toyota Armenia.
