EBRD TO CONTINUE SUPPORTING PROGRAMS OF YEREVAN MUNICIPALITY

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 27, ARMENPRESS: Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan
and leadership of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
have discussed the process of joint programs.
As reports Armenpress, evaluating cooperation with EBRD, Mayor
Margaryan expressed gratitude for the support of important programs
implemented in spheres of urban economy. He has mainly referred to
investment program process of Yerevan metropolitan development and
underlined that reconstruction and modernization works of first stage
proved that the program succeeded. Mayor has also assured that second
stage of the program will be efficient as well.
In her turn Deputy Director of Municipal and Environmental
infrastructure of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Lin
O'Grady evaluated cooperation with Yerevan municipality and expressed
gratitude for efficient joint work. On behalf of EBRD, Lin O'Grady
expressed willingness to continue implementation of programs between
municipality and bank.
It was decided to create a working group in order to implement the
planned projects.
