Armenia, Moldova and other neighbors of the EU member states have
joined the Union's sanctions against North Korea.
`The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it,'

Catherine Ashton said in a statement.
Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Iceland and Serbia have joined the

The Decision adopts additional EU autonomous measures prohibiting
trade in gold, precious metals and diamonds and the delivery of new
DPRK denominated banknotes and coinage to the Central Bank. In
addition, the Decision outlaws the sale or purchase of DPRK bonds and
the opening of new branches, subsidiaries, or representative offices
of DPRK banks in the EU. Furthermore, EU Member States financial
