SURIK KHACHATRYAN CLAIMS TO IMMORTALITY

About the governor Surik Khachatryan's initiative on renting pasture
Syunik region of Armenia the Iranian side was learned a few months
ago. First, the initiative seemed absurd, but given the fact that it
has been already a year since someone like Surik Khachatryan heads
Syunik region, skepticism immediately retreated.
In February, there were rumors that the delegation led by Surik
Khachatryan would leave the province Atrpatakan, Islamic Republic of
Iran on an official visit, during which a cooperation agreement would
be signed, under which the Syunik region, agrees to lease pasture for
5 years, and Iran will provide Armenia with agricultural machinery
and fertilizers.
This time the influx of official denials began-the Ministry of
Territorial Administration and personally Khachatryan announced that
the disseminated information was not true, that the lands of Armenia
no one can give to another state without permission and so on.
This is on the official level. But already in not official
conversations there were rumors that these denials are only red
herrings, not more, because there should be presidential elections,
and in the campaign period no normal person, of course, will not take
such a step.
Judging by the fact that this question was again put into circulation,
especially on the level of the Secretary of National Security, we can
assume that after a while, in all likelihood, the deal will actually
be brought to an end only after that, and probably will be priced
Surik Khachatryan's diplomatic genius.
None of the governors in 21 years did not arise the idea that he could
speak and initiated foreign policy and try to go to the head of a
territorial to a new level, opening the space for their identity among
the immortals. And more than a convenient excuse for this purpose
than a statement of the level of the Armenian-Iranian relations,
