ARMENIAN AMBASSADOR IN JAPAN PARTICIPATED IN LANDLOCKED DEVELOPING COUNTRIES REGIONAL MEETING

YEREVAN, MARCH 13, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary to Japan Hrant Poghosyan participated in the regional
meeting of Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs) hosted in Laos
capital Vientiane.
As Information and Public Relations Department of the Foreign Affair
Ministry told Armenpress, the goal of the meeting was to wrap up
the efficiency of implementation of the Almaty Programme of action ,
assess challenges and elaborate progress paths for the fields, later
on planned to be included in new Programme of actions .
"Vientiane Consensus" document was adopted as a result of the meeting,
which is scheduled to be presented in session of the UN Economic
and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific region (UNESCAP)
due Bangkok , April 25 -May 1.
