Commenting on Serzh Sargsyan's statements during yesterday's press
conference that Raffi Hovannisian has problems with eyesight because
there are only three thousand people in the square and that in case
Raffi gathers one hundred thousand people, he will agree to negotiate
with them, Raffi Hovannisian said today that there is no need to go
so down and discuss the number of people at Freedom Square. He added
that he hopes Serzh Sargsyan did not want proof from people to launch
negotiations. As to Serzh Sargsyan's statement that Raffi Hovannisian
uses indecent words during rallies, the latter said indecency is when
one steals votes and celebrates victory.

Raffi Hovannisian denied Serzh Sargsyan's statement that Raffi agreed
he had not won. "I suggested opening the ballot boxes and checking
the result since the elections were rigged.

Raffi Hovannisian says his first proposal to Serzh Sargsyan was to
hold new presidential elections and launch public debates on home
and foreign issues, which was rejected by Serzh Sargsyan.

Raffi Hovannisian says he also proposed snap parliamentary elections
after relevant legislative amendments, which was also rejected. Raffi
Hovannisian said their meeting didn't end in any agreement to send
documents to each other. Raffi says that he wanted an open meeting.

Later, Serzh Sargsyan's mediators tried to find out how it is possible
to organize a meeting at Freedom Square or whether Raffi could leave
it. Hovannisian's proposals to meet on Freedom Square were rejected.

Raffi Hovannisian said that "on the next day of Hovik Abrahamyan's
late meeting, the latter passed an envelope to Armen Martirosyan
for me which contained a two-page document dated March 5, it was a
memorandum to be signed between Serzh Sargsyan and Raffi Hovannisian
to set up a Constitutional commission and hold a constitutional
referendum in a couple of years. The letter was 12 days old, and
the proposal had already been rejected by the Heritage parliamentary
group. So I crossed out the text and drew a circle around the date,
signed it and sent back to Serzh Sargsyan," said Raffi Hovannisian.

He noted that the constitutional referendum has nothing in common
with people's victory. It is mockery. This is a process that needs
    to be conducted by lawyers.

In the upcoming rally on Friday Raffi Hovannisian will read out the
aforementioned letter from the National Assembly.
