ARMENIAN AMBASSADOR TO SLOVAKIA HANDED CREDENTIALS TO THE HEAD OF STATE

YEREVAN, MARCH 20, ARMENPRESS: Ambassador of Armenian Republic to
Slovakia Tigran Seyranyan solemnly handed his credentials to President
of Slovakian Republic Ivan GaÅ¡paroviÄ~M. As Armenpress was informed
from press, informational and public relations department of Armenian
Foreign Ministry, after the ceremony of handing the credentials
President GaÅ¡paroviÄ~M and Ambassador Seyranyan had a private
conversation. President congratulated Ambassador Seyranyan on the
occasion of accreditation and gladly highlighted friendly relations
between the two states.
Armenian Ambassador expressed gratitude for the warm reception in the
presidential residency and expressed willing to spare no effort in
order to develop multilateral relations between Armenia and Slovakia.
Interlocutors referred to the agenda of Armenia's European integration,
mutual visits on the state level, political dialogue between the two
states. Sides have touched on issues regarding economic cooperation
and settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as some regional
issues. Taking the opportunity, Ambassador Seyranyan expressed
gratitude to Slovakian Parliament for recognizing Armenian Genocide
on November 30, 2004.
Other issues of bilateral interest have been discussed.
