MINISTERS OF CULTURE OF ARMENIA AND GEORGIA TO DISCUSS ISSUES OF CULTURAL HERITAGE PRESERVATION

YEREVAN, MARCH 21, ARMENPRESS. The Minister of Culture of the Republic
of Armenia Hasmik Poghosyan paid a visit to Georgia. Hasmik Poghosyan
visited Georgia on the invitation of the Minister of Culture and
Monument Protection of Georgia Guram Odisharia.
The Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Culture of the
Republic of Armenia informed "Armenpress" that during the visit the
sides will discuss issues regarding the ways of future development of
the Armenian-Georgian cultural cooperation. A number of issues on the
preservation of historical and cultural heritage in the territory of
the two countries and the 2013 program of bilateral cooperation will
be under discussion at the course of the meeting.
Among other things discussions regarding holding joint events within
the framework of "Aram Khachaturian's 110 Anniversary" program have
been involved in the agenda of the visit as well.
