Armenian St. Paul - Peter Church included in the list of more
    endangered monuments of `Europe Nostra'

    15:23, 4 May, 2013

YEREVAN, MAY 4, ARMENPRESS. At the eve of April 18 - International
Day of Monuments and Places of Interest, Europe Nostra - leading
organization in the sphere of maintaining European heritage -
announced the 14 cultural monuments which were included in the initial
list of `7 more endangered' cultural and historical monuments.
Armenpress reports that the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of
Armenia informs that St. Paul-Peter church of Aragatsotn region is
also in that list. The church represents Armenian cultural heritage.
The suit of the church was worked out and introduced by the Ministry
of Culture of the Republic of Armenia.

As it is mentioned in the official webpage of the organization the
names of the monuments will be finally announced in Athens on June 16
during a conference dedicated to the 50th anniversary of `Europe
    Nostra.'

The program `7 more endangered' was launched in January 2012 inspired
by a successful realization of the program `National Trust of
Protection of the US Historical Environment.' Its main aims are to
unite a number of private and state organizations under a common idea
and thus reveal variants of financial sources of the protection of
    heritage.
