Armenian and Russian cadastres sign memorandum of understanding
YEREVAN, May 17./ARKA/. The State Committee of the Real Estate
Cadastre of Armenia and the Federal Service for State Registration,
Cadastre and Cartography of Russia signed a memorandum of
understanding on Friday, the government reported.
Head of Russia's structure Natalya Antipina met with Armenia's prime
minister Tigran Sargsyan and expressed her hopes that the document
will foster the bilateral cooperation.
Antipina said she is impressed how well Armenian did in the cadastre
sphere thus reporting good results in Doing Business leaving behind
Russia.
Armenia inched up by 18 points in Doing Business 2013 appearing at the
32nd place out of 185.
Sargsyan, on his side, emphasized the significance of cooperation
between the cadastre bodies of the countries. According to him, it
will foster exchange of experience and implementation of reforms in
this sphere.
The prime minister and Antipina also discussed the joint press
conference of the both cadastres to be held soon.
They also covered the issues related to archive digitalization,
