08:39 - 22.05.13
Charles Aznavour Foundation has issued a statement refuting the media
information as if the world famous singer is going to adopt a Turkish
child.
The statement says that two years have passed from the disastrous
earthquake in Turkey but the talks as if Aznavour wants to adopt a
Turkish child do not stop. Aznavour's spokesman Frederique Dupont
officially refuted the information and stated that the singer has no
such intention.
`He has felt deep sorrow for the Turkish children who became victims
of the earthquake. A child remains a child be it Armenian, Iranian,
French, Turkish', the statement runs.
Today the legendary singer celebrates his 89th birthday anniversary. A
number of events are expected in France and Armenia on that occasion.
