KALAMANOV: ENTRY INTO CUSTOMS UNION CANNOT LIMIT SOVEREIGNTY OF ANY STATE

Armenia's entry into the Customs Union will be beneficial both to
Armenia and Russia, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade
Georgy Kalamanov told reporters after the 11th session of the CSTO
Interstate Commission on Military and Economic Cooperation.
He stressed that joining the Customs Union cannot limit the sovereignty
of any state.
Mr Kalamanov expressed hope that the process of Armenia's entry into
the CU will be completed by 2014.
"Mechanisms of cooperation within the Customs Union framework have
been developed recently. I believe that it will be possible to speed
up Armenia's membership in the organization," he said.
