ARMENIAN OPPOSITION PARTY MEMBER COMMENTS ON APPOINTMENT AS CONSUL GENERAL

YEREVAN. - If Armenia's opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party member
Hrayr Karapetyan were to be offered an appointment as Armenia's Consul
General to Saint Petersburg, Russia, he would consider such proposal.
Karapetyan himself told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
He added that such offer would be acceptable for him, since he worked
at the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) for ten years.
But the ARF member also said he does not know whether or not he will
be appointed as consul general.
"At any rate, I am not a consul [at present]; I live in [capital city]
Yerevan," he stated.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party
member Hrayr Karapetyan will be appointed Armenian Consul General to
Saint Petersburg.
