ARMENIAN PRESIDENT RECEIVES MEMBERS OF CIS COUNCIL OF SECURITY AGENCIES AND SPECIAL SERVICES

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received on Thursday the delegations
participating in the 35th meeting of the Council of Security Agencies
and Special Services of the CIS member-nations.
Armenia's leader stressed the need for deeper cooperation in ensuring
regional and international security between the CIS member-nations.
In this context, President Serzh Sargsyan stressed the importance of
security agencies' activities.
The Council members informed the president of the results of their
meeting in Tsakhkadzor.
Council Chairman, Director of the RF Federal Security Service Alexander
Bortnikov considers the Council's meetings effective. He pointed out
the dynamically developing cooperation in meeting such modern-day
challenges as terrorism, drug trafficking and organized crime.
President Serzh Sargsyan wished the Council members further successful
activities.
