Armenia natives neither affected nor detained in Moscow riots - police

YEREVAN. - The natives of Armenia have not been detained or affected
in Moscow riots, representative of the Armenian police told Armenian
News-NEWS.am.
Ashot Aharonyan, spokesperson for the police, noted that they are
Ïccasionally receiving the data on incidents involving citizens and
natives of Armenia through Armenian police representation in Russia.
The death of Yegor Shcherbakov sparked mass protests in the southern
district of Moscow. The incident made local residents take to the
streets. They marched to the police department urging to find and
punish the attacker and toughen migration laws. Nationalists and
skinheads attacked the local trade centers, around 400 people were
detained. Around 2,000 migrants were detained for further deportation.
