ACTIVISTS GATHER NEAR MUNICIPALITY WHERE TRANSPORTATION FARES RISE IS DISCUSSED

YEREVAN. - The first meeting of the committee discussing increase in
public transportation fares commenced at 5pm on Friday.
The civic activists struggling against transportation fares rise had
gathered near the municipality building at 4pm. They demand thatMayor's
decision on setting up a committee must be canceled and public debates
with the participation of all interested parties must be held.
The police officers do not allow the activist to approach the building.
