Rostelecom has launched a 40Gbs network in Yerevan.

According to Rostelecom's press service, the network is supposed to
provide the company's individual and corporate customers with stable
high-speed Internet access. The network is based on technologies by
Extreme Networks, one of the world's networking leaders.

    Rostelecom's subsidiary in Armenia, GNC-ALFA, also has a 20GBs MPLS1
network connecting all branches of corporate customers.

Rostelecom's GPON2 network covers 19 cities and brings optical fiber
to every home. The company offers a wide range of services to a
majority of Armenian providers, commercial banks and government
    agencies.

Rostelecom started up in Armenia in late 2012 through its subsidiary,
GNC-ALFA. The company provides Internet, fixed telephony and IP
television services. Its fiber network covers almost 80% of Armenia's
territory and is connected with Iran and Georgia.
