CUBAN AND ARMENIAN FOREING MINISTERS HOLD OFFICIAL TALKS

Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandian held talks today with his Cuban
counterpart Bruno Rodríguez at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
in Havana.

Nalbandian, who is on an official visit to Cuba, expressed Armenia's
wish to expand the relations between Cuba and Armenia.
The Armenian Foreign Minister referred to Cubans as "good friends"
and thanked the warm welcome and the invitation to visit Havana's
historical center yesterday.
Rodríguez said Nalbandian's visit to Cuba represents a strengthening of
the historical and current cooperation ties between both nations, and
expressed the island's willingness to expand the areas of cooperation
with Armenia.
He also thanked Armenian citizens' contributions to Cuba's development.
