ZHOGHOVURD: RUSSIA-BASED ARMENIAN BUSINESSMEN INTERESTED IN MIKA CEMENT PLANT

The Mika Cement plant owned by Mikhail Bagdasarov, which declared
bankruptcy a few months ago and was mortgaged against a loan extended
by the VTB Armenia bank.
Russia-based Armenian businessmen are reported interested in the
plant. The head of the technical department of Mika Cement, Serob
Sharoyan, represents the businessmen in Armenia.
It means that he is most likely to be appointed director of the plant.
The VTB Armenia bank neither refutes nor confirmed the rumors about
the sale of the plant.
The former workers are not demanding their wages for seven months.
