"At first Azerbaijan couldn't coordinate its actions"

    Saturday, November 15, 2014

On November 12 the Azerbaijani mass media released a video that showed
an episode of the Syrian war, and not the downing of MI-24 helicopter
by Azerbaijan as a result of a ceasefire violation, media expert
    Samvel Martirosyan told journalists today.

According to him, videos about the Syrian war are widespread
throughout the world and are often used in such cases.

Martirosyan said that at first Azerbaijan could not coordinate its
actions, due to which the press reports were contradictory - even the
statement issued by Defense Ministry was written by several people.

"One section of the statement said that the helicopter launched an
attack, whereas the other claimed it was going to attack," S.
    Martirosyan noted.

In his words, in parallel with escalating the situations, attacks are
being made on Armenian information websites so as to prevent
propaganda work. As regards the work done by Armenian information
websites, Martirosyan said that our mass media worked well and
    released information from reliable sources.

As was reported, around 1:45 pm on November 12, a Mi-24 helicopter of
the Nagorno Karabakh Air Force was shot down during a training flight
in the airspace over the eastern section of Karabakh-Azerbaijan
border, as a result of a ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani armed
    forces.
