PROTESTING ARMENIAN ACTIVIST CALLS FOR OSCE SANCTIONS AGAINST AZERBAIJAN

The Heritage party activist, who has been on a hunger-strike outside
the OSCE Office since Monday, is calling for the organization's strong
efforts towards enforcing sanctions against Azerbaijan.
David Sanasaryan urges the member states of the Minsk Group to take
active steps to facilitate the Armenian side's access to the crash
site of the downed MI-24 helicopter.
"A journalist called me today and said the Minsk Group co-chairs had
issued a statement calling upon Azerbaijan to allow the recovery of
the guys' [crewmembers'] bodies. Their statement is praiseworthy;
that's what I expected, but if they have no trust in Azerbaijan,
I address my call to the co-chairs of the Minsk Group and their
countries' presidents for taking active steps to put an end to
Azerbaijan's cowardly and beastly behavior," he said.
The OSCE ambassador on Wednesday approached the protesting activist
to say that Vienna is now very seriously considering the issue.
Heritage party's leader Raffi Hovhannisyan and other opposition
members visit Sanasaryan every day to express their solidarity.
