Azerbaijan's tough position, the lack of logic and its actions to
prevent the removal of the bodies of helicopter crew forced the
Armenian side to undertake a special operation, Armenian Defense
Minister Seyran Ohanyan told reporters on Saturday.
The Armed Forces of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic carried out a
special operation on Saturday at the crash site of the
Nagorno-Karabakh's MI-24 helicopter downed by Azerbaijan on November
12. As a result of the operation, the body of one crew member, the
remains of two pilots as well as some parts of the helicopter were
removed from the crash site.
The Minister said that the Armenian side acted skillfully, and managed
to destroy the enemy's trap. "We should be proud of the fighters who
carried out their complex task with honor," he said.
"We will strengthen the measures at the frontline to detect, identify
and destroy those who will violate the ceasefire," Mr Ohanyan said.
According to the official, the Armenian people do not have a habit of
killing with an axe or devising plots, but we will give a worthy
response to any such provocation.
