YEREVAN. - A delegation of experts from the Rosselkhoznadzor (Federal
Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of the Russian
Federation) will arrive in Armenia in November, to conduct a
monitoring of animal food production in the country.
Andranik Petrosyan, who heads the Department of Foreign Relations at
the Ministry of Agriculture, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that a
respective agreement had been reached earlier.
"During the negotiations, [Rosselkhoznadzor Director Sergei] Dankvert
announced that we can say that this matter is 99 percent resolved.
"In November, they are going to send a delegation of experts to
Armenia; moreover, not solely from Russia, but from Belarus and
Kazakhstan, since this is about a common economic space.
"The visit will bear a nature of action; [and] an export permit is
quite real," Petrosyan specifically noted.
