forward to building strong business relations with Armenian peers, the
visiting foreign minister of Austria, Sebastian Kurtz, said on Monday
during a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Edward
Nalbandian.
Sebastian Kurtz has arrived in Armenia today on an official two-day
visit at the invitation of Edward Nalbandian.
"For me it was important to visit Armenia, which is interesting in
several aspects - political, economic and trade," said Kurtz.
He said the countries have ample opportunities to further their
economic relations.
"Austrian entrepreneurs are showing strong interest in Armenia, as
evidenced by a representative delegation that has come together with
me, and which includes representatives from the Chamber of Commerce
and the ministry of economy, as well as a group of businessmen,' he
said.
In Yerevan Kurtz will attend the opening of the office of the Austrian
Development Agency, meant to strengthen bilateral economic ties.
