CHORRORT ISHKANUTYUN: CONSTITUTIONAL REFORMS PUT GOVERNMENT TO BIG EXPENSES

The constitutional reforms, which the Armenian authorities are trying
to impose on the society, cost the Government considerable budgetary
expenses, says the paper.
The commission of professionals working on the proposed package
conducted a working trip to Paris from 18 to 20 September to
participate in the debates over the draft with members of the Venice
Commission. Citing its sources, the paper says that the hosting side
covered only the travel expenses, with the accommodation costs being
paid from Armenia's State Budget.
And regardless of the amount, it was the money of our ordinary
taxpayers, the paper claims.
It further refers to an earlier statement by the commission's
secretariat saying that technical and organizational costs had been
made by GIZ and the OSCE Office in Yerevan.
