new genocide (video)

The placement of customs checkpoints between Armenia and
Nagorno-Karabakh can lead to a new genocide, says Armenian lawmaker
Alexander Arzumayan.
"It is simply inadmissible," he said.
Speaking at the Hayeli club, Mr Arzumayan said that in the same way
customs checkpoints should be set up between Russia and the Crimea,
given the fact that no country, including the members of the Customs
Union, has recognized the peninsula's secession from Ukraine and its
annexation to Russia. "Let us tell them, "You place checkpoints first
and we shall follow your example or else no side will place any
checkpoints," said Mr Arzumanyan.
Speaking about the Eurasian Economic Union, the MP reiterated his
opinion that 'it is only on paper.' "On October 10, Kazakhstan will
likely propose to extend the discussion again."
Mr Arzumanyan says Armenia took a foolish decision by joining the EEU.
"A year ago, we held a normal dialogue with Russia. Today Russia is an
isolated country, living under the burden of sanctions. We have a
silly saying 'Collective death is equal to wedding.' We seem to be
going to this collective death today," he said.
Speaking about Surik Khachatryan's reappointment as governor of Syunik
province, Mr Arzumanyan said 'it was a slap in the face to the
people.'
