PanARMENIAN.Net - The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the
Council of Europe (PACE) Anne Brasseur refuted Azerbaijani media
reports claiming that during the press conference in Baku she proposed
to "hold meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian communities of Nagorno
Karabakh in Baku despite Armenia's non-constructive position."
According to Panorama.am, a representative of the PACE President's
office said that the "Assembly should not interfere in the activities
of the OSCE Minsk Group, but can help the parliamentary delegations of
Azerbaijan and Armenia build confidence and develop dialogue."
However, the press release "summarizing the conclusions of Brasseur's
visit to Azerbaijan" didn't contain a word about a meeting "between
the Armenian and Azeri communities of Nagorno Karabakh."
